Deepa's Adorable Food & Burlesque

One of my best friends, Deepa de Jour, made these fabulously cute hand sculpted food clips for the Dismantled Fashions Etsy shop. Look how insanely detailed they are! They will be a one time only exclusive line, exclusively in the Etsy shop. Very exclusive! :) Once they are gone, they're gone!

Find them now in the Etsy shop for $15 a pair!

Not only can she make the cutest accessories and art, she also happens to be hands down the best burlesque act I have ever seen. And no, I'm not just partial because we're friends! Deepa De Jour on Facebook

Along with some other talented ladies, she has started up the Richmond Institute of Burlesque and is offering classes at AMAZING prices. If you're in VA or plan to visit, I highly suggest getting a hold of these girls... they really know what they're doing in an overflowing scene of so-so performers. Yeah, I said it!

More new photoshoot pictures

A while ago, one of my burlesque dancing friends, Deanna Danger, asked me if I'd be interested in styling a flyer photoshoot for a special event. Well, yeah! The icing on the cake was that the event was a rockabilly/pin up inspired shindig. I promptly changed my answer to a big old 'hell yes'! After some talks and a fitting with the two lovely girls, plus a photoshoot by Ginger of 422 Studio, these images were born. I'm really glad I was asked to be a part of this and I really can't wait to see the flyer around town. (I'll probably jack one to keep in my studio area, shh!)

I'll also be at the event with a little table and raffling off a Dismantled Fashions skirt. There are talks this raffle business might be a recurring thing. Oooh, exciting!

Here are a couple photos from the set. You can see more in my Flickr if you're interested.
